Job Title: Receptionist / Greeter-Lexus stores
Department: General and Administrative
Reports To: Comptroller / Office Manager
SUMMARY
Greets callers or walk in customers at the dealership, determines the nature of their business, and directs to appropriate destination.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service
- Greets customers and determines the nature of their visit in a friendly and professional manner.
- Communicate to customers the arrival of their license plates.
Process
- Directs customers to the correct department, notifies the appropriate person a customer is waiting, and introduces the customer to appropriate person.
- Answers quickly and tracks incoming phone calls. Directs caller to appropriate department or individual or takes a thorough message and communicates messages to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
- Obtains basic demographic information about each customer, using an ups card, a log sheet, or other method established by the dealership.
- Enters data into prospect tracking system and runs prospect reports for managers weekly.
- Assist with stocking in new vehicles by making folders, stage, type vehicle or customer information into computer, printing cards, etc.
Department/Team
1. Types memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents; provides clerical support as requested.
2. Cut out newspaper ads daily and provide to sales manager.
3. Assists with one-pays, service and parts edits, accounts payable and cashiering as required.
Housekeeping
1. Maintains a professional appearance and neat work area.
Performs other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
1. Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk and hear; frequently required to walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel and crouch; and occasionally required to stand.
2. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
3. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
1. Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
2. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
